Minutes secretary

I had never heard of Headway until my husband Graeme was diagnosed with Encephalitis in 2012. Our occupational therapist encouraged us to go along and give it a go.

We have attended every month since and I held the position of Chair of the steering group for ten years! I have now stepped down as Chair but remain on the committee as the minutes secretary. Everyone is so friendly and there’s always something going on.

Graeme and I have three grown up children, a gorgeous granddaughter, two cute grandsons, and a rehomed crossbreed dog called Mabel! Our spare time is spent playing crown green bowls.
