Hello members! Well, here we are at the end of 2020 and what a year it’s been! It has been a terrible time for all of us, with restrictions and shielding making life so very difficult! All we really want is to see and hug our families and have a normal Christmas. However, we are strong here ‘up North’ and we must follow guidelines and keep ourselves safe until things start to get back to normal! I wish I had lots of positive things to tell you about the coming year and details of meetings and activities but until it’s safe to meet we can’t make any plans yet. We will, however, be on the case as soon as we can and lots of things that we were meant to do this year will be rearranged for next year. I am pleased to be able to report that Matt did manage to get a haircut and looks more like his normal self! My daily Welsh lessons are still ongoing but as I never get a chance to use it, I’ve no idea if I’m improving! Jay’s beard is coming along nicely and we look forward to seeing him decorate it with baubles and lights at the final Zoom meeting! I hope more of you will join in the Zoom meetings, they are a free, fun way of keeping in touch! If you need any help joining, just give a call and we’ll talk you through it. As I can’t see you at our meeting or our Christmas Meal to do this in person, may I take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry (safe) Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year! We look forward to being able to meet again soon but until then, stay safe, follow guidelines and see you in 2021With love Suzanne xxxxxx
